I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it. -Jack Handy

So, I've been tagged in a few things and I'm really sorry but I'm just getting around to them now, SORRY! And, no the camera cord still hasn't been found so the purse will remain a mystery for now...

But Karen did a fun interview thing and I asked her to give me five questions to answer too. So, here it goes.

1) What is your favorite thing about blogging? What have you learned about yourself from your blog?

I think my favorite thing about blogging so far is just getting all of my thoughts/feelings out and being able to be completely honest without worrying about what anyone thinks of me. I'm anonymous so no one (well, except for Gina) knows that it's me talking. I've only been blogging for about two months so I'm not sure that I've learned a whole lot about myself, but I realized that I do have a lot to say and it's very cleansing to get it all out there.

2) Which of the Friends do you think you are most like and which would you most like as a real-life friend?

Funny you ask this, because in high school my friends and I each thought of this and my friends actually decided that I was most like Joey, obviously not because of his sex/dating life. I don't know why they decided this, I think just because I'm kind of outgoing and tend to say whatever's going on in my head. Like, if I'm thinking it, I tend to just say it. I think I would most like Chandler/Rachel/Joey as a real life friend, if we're talking about the characters, if about the real actors, then definitely Jennifer Aniston. Both her and her character just both seem to be a really good friend, no matter what. And Chandler and Joey would make me laugh :)

3) Teaching Special Ed is tough. What do you feel is most rewarding and most challenging?

I've actually blogged about how I never know what to say when asked this question, so I've contemplated this answer for awhile. I think the most rewarding thing is when your students "get it". There are times when you can see their wheels turning and something just clicks. I'm also glad that I get to be the person to give them the chance they deserve when there are so many who won't. The most challenging thing is seeing them try so hard but sometimes their disability may prevent them from accomplishing something. A little girl that I used to work with really just wanted friends, but because of her Asperger's and her eccentricity, many students would stay away from her and not even give her the chance. Many times she said that I was her best friend, and I was more than happy to fulfill that role, but she also needed students her own age to be her friend.

4) Post a video that makes you laugh. How did you find it?

I think this video is completely hilarious! The little boy is just so cute, and even though at times I feel sorry for the poor thing, it's so adorable. I found it because one of my friends on facebook posted it as their status and luckily I clicked on the link! (And I'm a little proud of myself for figuring out how to post a video all by myself!)

5) Would you most like to win an Emmy, a Tony, a Grammy or an Oscar and why?

Hmmm, hard one. I think I'd like to win the Oscar for best song (which I sang, probably not wrote) in a musical. This covers my love of musicals and singing. The interior of my car has never complained of my singing at the top of my lungs, so I'm sure that I'm good.

Thanks so much, Karen! This was fun! Does anyone else want to do an interview? I'll post five questions for you on your blog, just leave a comment letting me know that you want me to!

So this starts the conversation, do any of the rest of you have any questions for me? I'll answer anything as long as it's doesn't give away who I am.

  4. Good interview, D! Lots of fun reading your answers.

I love the "David After Dentist" video too. Have you seen the "Kittens" one? It's a little girl making up her own narration for a book about Kittens. Priceless!
